Oh ?!

I thought Menix Miniatures was the name of the miniature makers - lol.

Can you tell me who produced these Swiss army miniatures please ?

Thanks,
Sigmar

hello Sigmar,
the minis are a mixture of 25mm Mirliton (look under "Fantasy Range") and Foundry ("Early Swiss"- and "100 Year War"- Range.
The Mirlitons are very well cast, The Foundry-100YW Range is IMO veryvery bad quality and overpriced...I wouldn't buy those anymore. The Foundry Early Swiss Range are very nice figs, but the Halberdiers have annoyingly boring postures - about 50% of them are just standing around, like watching some birds fly by...

yeah, keep your hands off those Foundry100YW, and yes, they are too small as well! Mirliton is great, but buy some packs of those single cool early halberds from that company and exchange the casted halberds - these tend too be a bit biggish, and you can get rid of some of the unrealistic looking spears.

Say, you got a nice blog article. Thanks Again. Much obliged.

This blog is dedicated to ancient and medieval miniature wargaming. I'd like to share pictures of my painted armies and models, self made terrain-pieces and sketches of projects still residing in my head or on a piece of paper.
My main interest at the moment is creating armies and accessories, researching for historical or made-up scenarios and campaigns for the fast-play wargaming rules from "De bellis Antiquitatis" (DBA) with 25mm and 15mm figurines.
I use the blog-format rather unconventionaly. It is more like a scrapbook. And I update the older posts so keep checking. I recommend utilizing the labels to the left. So if your just interested in miniatures click the "Miniatures"-label and you will be presented with posts concerning painting, figurines etc. And don't forget to click on "older posts" at the bottom of the page for more. And many thanks for commenting!
